Ceramic, also known as Ferrite, magnets are made of a composite of iron oxide and barium or strontium carbonate. Alnico is composed of aluminium, nickel and cobalt mainly and is known for standing strong against demagnetisation because of shock. Samarium Cobalt is known for being resistant to oxidation and has a much higher magnetic strength. This magnet does not get affected at high temperatures. The properties of Neodymium Iron Boron (NdFeB) are quite similar to that of Samarium Cobalt but do not usually have the same temperature resistance. NdFeB gets oxidised easily. Flexible Magnets are produced in sheets and flat strips usually and differ slightly from the injection moulded magnets.
